As a mead enthusiast, Peter Michael Taylor founded Nidhoggr Mead Co. to bring high-quality mead to the market. 'I was looking for a way to combine my passion for mead with my business skills,' Peter says.

Growing up in the UK, Peter developed a love for mead and later served in the British Army as a Bomb Disposal Technician. After being medically discharged, Peter went on to work in sales roles before deciding to start his own business, Nidhoggr Mead Co.

Nidhoggr Mead Co. specializes in making high-quality mead using 100% naturally sourced honey. 'We do not use any inferior ingredients in any of our products, such as fermenting sugars or white wine bases and never will,' Peter says.

Key challenges

Peter has faced many challenges, including navigating international markets and dealing with ADHD. 'Shortly after starting the company, I was diagnosed with ADHD but instead of allowing this to become a problem that hindered me, I utilized it as much as possible,' Peter says.

Successful highlights

Peter's proudest moments have come from winning awards and expanding into international markets. 'We have won Gold at Europe's largest mead competition, the Mead Madness Cup with our Elderflower Mead,' Peter says.
